Welcome to Mediative’s new blog!
First, a bit of background about Mediative. We officially launched in October 2010 and quickly established ourselves as one of the largest integrated digital marketing companies in North America. We provide our clients with innovative, effective tools to get the most value out of their digital marketing campaigns, helping them connect with the right customers quickly and successfully.
Since launching in October, we’ve been working hard on integrating and establishing ourselves on the web and things are coming along nicely.
This blog is an ideal place to showcase the collective expertise of the nine different groups and companies that joined forces to create Mediative: AdSplash, Uptrend, Enquiro, the National Markets and Corporate Marketing teams at Yellow Pages Group, the National teams at Trader and RedFlagDeals, the Service Unit at Acquisio, and the people at DealoftheDay/PromoduJour.
We’ll be using this blog to keep you posted on everything we’re doing, to help you get to know our team, and to show you some of the projects we’re working on. We’ve already worked on some great campaigns for top clients — like Bestbuy.ca’s “Big Game” campaign, Walmart.ca’s upcoming Auto Center,”Babies ‘r’ Us’ “Diaper Finder” campaign (yes, we help you find the best diapers!), and Enquiro’s stellar work with Tourism BC for the Vancouver Olympics (Enquiro is part of Mediative and Yellow Pages Group). All these stories and much more will be featured on this forum.
The name of the blog comes directly from our tagline, “the results people.” It speaks to our philosophy and promise to our clients —marketing is about results, and Mediative delivers them every time.
There will be a monthly editor in charge of selecting topics and managing the blog each month.
Some of the topics we’ll be covering include:
Online retailing media programs and retail monetization. This is one of the most exciting areas of our business. We serve leading retail e-commerce websites like Walmart.ca, Best-buy.ca, Futureshop.ca, delivering innovative, custom digital ad campaign opportunities…so we have plenty of fascinating stories just waiting to be told!
Location-based marketing. This is a natural topic for us given our roots in the local advertising business. Our parent company Yellow Pages Group is a leader in Canada and around the world, topping all other yellow pages operators.
Mobile. There will be 100,000,000 searches across the YellowPages.ca mobile network in 2011, with 2.2 million downloads of our flagship application YellowPages.
Auto. We are the #1 automotive media publisher in Canada, period, so we’ll have plenty to talk about on this topic.
Digital strategy and analytics. Our service unit (former Enquiro folks) crunches data and turns it into results. So far, the team has knocked it out of the park for top-tier clients including 3M, Grainger, Allstate Insurance, Zurich Insurance and Deutsche Telekom, to name just a few.
Search, display and social. With Acquisio’s platform and the rapid evolution of ad exchanges, this is sure to be another hot topic for discussion.
Intent-to-buy data. This is the magic ingredient of our ad network.
